Most donations happen on a phone, often while the viewer watches the stream on another screen. Apple Pay and Google Pay reduce payment to a fingerprint, face or passcode confirmation. DonoLink offers them automatically when the donor's device is compatible.
Every field to fill in is a chance to give up. With Apple Pay or Google Pay, the donor does not need to find their card: they confirm and it is done. On mobile it is often the fastest way to donate during a big moment in the stream.
The button depends on the viewer's device:
The payment goes through Stripe, on your connected account. The real card number is not shared with the merchant. DonoLink charges 3.5% per successful donation; Stripe separately charges its processing fees to the creator account.
DonoLink domains are registered with Stripe for digital wallets. There is nothing for you to configure.
